We collaborate to support the Ghras Educational Center for educating the children of immigrants and orphans.

 Social and Economic Conditions
Immigrants in Turkey face harsh conditions (wars, persecution, poverty, ignorance), especially children who have lost their families, exposing them to deviation and deprivation. Voluntary organizations, such as Al-Fatih Endowment, strive to support them educationally and morally.

Ghras Center

  • Establishment and Objective: Founded 7 years ago in Istanbul, it focuses on teaching Arabic, Quran memorization, and Islamic sciences to children and women from Arab and Islamic communities, alongside educational and skill-building activities.

  • Beneficiaries: 65 children in the morning (basic education) and 200 children and women in the evening (Quran memorization), totaling 265 beneficiaries.

  • Staff: 10 supervisors working in two shifts, managed by a coordinator from the endowment.

Center Needs

  • Monthly rent (12,000 Turkish Lira).

  • Utility bills (electricity, water, gas, internet).

  • Salaries for supervisors and teachers.

  • Books, educational tools, and motivational rewards.

  • Equipment (heaters, carpets).

Objectives

  • Reviving Islamic identity and fostering a positive spirit.

  • Protecting children from deviation.

  • Ensuring the center’s operational continuity.

Goals

  • Providing a safe educational and moral environment.

  • Protecting students from negative influences.

  • Preparing a righteous and beneficial generation.

Expected Outcomes

  • Graduating students committed to faith and ethics.

  • Addressing educational and advocacy shortcomings.

  • Presenting a successful model for supporting immigrants.

Project Management
A coordinator from the endowment oversees the educational process, lesson coordination, student attendance, and salary distribution, with periodic reports for monitoring and evaluation.

  • Total cost: $35,596 (includes salaries, rent, utilities, miscellaneous expenses, and media documentation).
