"Revival and Development" Project

The "Revival and Development" project aims to empower 20 needy families in Istanbul, Turkey, to achieve self-sufficiency and dignity by supporting the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises. The project draws its philosophy from the principle of sustainable development, transforming individuals from aid recipients into active and productive partners.

Key Objectives:

• Economic Empowerment: To transition families from reliance on relief to self-sufficiency through income-generating projects.
• Community Development: To contribute to building a cohesive community by fostering entrepreneurship and combating poverty and unemployment.
• Improved Quality of Life: To address the living challenges faced by families, such as school dropout and child marriage, and alleviate economic burdens.
• Enhanced Dignity: To treat beneficiaries as partners, thereby promoting their dignity and encouraging them to contribute to supporting other families.

Implementation Methodology:

The project adopts a comprehensive methodology that begins with identifying eligible families with artisanal skills, followed by preparing feasibility studies and providing technical and financial support (accounting and marketing consultations, and purchasing equipment and raw materials). This is followed by regular documentation and follow-up to ensure the continuity of the projects, with beneficiary families committing to contributing 20% of their profits to support other families.

Expected Outcomes:

• Transforming impoverished families into productive and income-generating households.
• Enhancing community support through the contribution of beneficiary families.
• The return of 80% of children from beneficiary families to education.
• Improving the social and economic status of families, thereby reducing negative phenomena.

 Sustainability and Risk Management:

The project strives for full family sustainability through continuous support and strategic partnerships. Performance is monitored and evaluated via clear indicators and regular field visits. Risk management includes plans to mitigate challenges such as funding cessation or non-compliance by beneficiaries.
